Truman Condon

CONDON, Truman. Went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2013 at Otterbein Home Lebanon, OH at the age of 94. Born February 18, 1919 in Hamilton, OH he leaves behind his wife of 75 years Eva and 3 daughters Carolyn (Ronnie) Harrison of Hamilton, OH, Karen Beltz of Lebanon, OH and Linda (Edward) Halcomb of Liberty Twp., OH. Grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 15 and great-great grandfather of 5. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Brother of Virgil (Gloria) Condon of Mason, OH, Vernon (Margie) Condon of Middletown, OH and Hazel (the late Joe) Condon of Trenton, OH. Proceeded in death by his parents Ora and Grace Condon. He belonged to Bethany United Methodist Church and was a member of the Butler County Farm Bureau. Went through his sophomore year at Monroe High School. Loved fox hunting along with all other hunting and baseball. He farmed all his life and worked 17 years as a security guard for AK Steel before retiring at the age of 62. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., Thursday from 10 AM until Funeral Service at 11AM. Burial will immediately follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Doug Sonnenberg. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank Hospice of Otterbein and Mathews Hall.
