Victor J. Bosse, loving husband of the late Miriam A. Bosse, passed peacefully on April 13, 2017 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash at the age of 88. Beloved father of Raymond Bosse (Sherri) of New Windsor, NY, Thomas Bosse (Jill) of Nashville, TN, Michael Bosse (Myra) of Piqua, OH, daughters Teresa Rechtin (Robert) of Cincinnati, Janelle Simmons (Ted) of Cincinnati, and close friend Dick Parsons (Colleen, daughters Lainey, Erin & Liz) of Cincinnati. Devoted grandfather to Tim, Matt and Clare Bosse, Connor Bosse, Adam, Alex, and Evan Rechtin, Travis and Mitchell Bosse, and Kylee Simmons. Dear brother of Joan Ritter of Cincinnati, and the late Harry, Cletus, Milton, Anthony, and sisters Mary and Mildred. Victor was born August 28, 1928 in Cincinnati to Harry and Mary Bosse and grew up in Northside helping to operate the local Bosse Dairy on Kirby Rd. Vic was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, 1951-1957. He is a retired lithographer from Diamond International Company. After retiring, he followed his passion for construction and woodworking as a part time employee of Parsons’ Construction; also a retired LT from the North College Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. and Life Squad. Visitation on Tuesday, April 18th from 5-7 pm at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, 45224. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 19th at 10 am at St. Boniface Church (Northside). Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd. Blue Ash, 45242 or St. Boniface Church.
