Victoria M. Mitchell

Victoria, age 95, born Victoria Margaret Elizabeth Rossi, Feb. 6, 1920 in Waynesboro, PA, one of 10 children & youngest daughter of John Baptist & Caterina Stella (Mancone) Rossi. Vicki passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of her family at Christ Hospital on Sept. 24, 2015. Preceded in death by beloved brothers & sisters, Amelia, Edward, Mary, Adolphus, Helen, Virginia, Edith, John & Lewis. Married to the late Lt. Col. Vincent A. Evers USAF ret. & the late Charles H. Mitchell (8 step children & families). Survived by beloved children Mary Angela, Vincent Evers (Marilyn), & Victoria Endres (Richard), grandchildren Angela Hughey & Richard Endres, and large extended family of inlaws, nieces, nephews & cousins. Preceded in death by grandchild Daniel Hughey. Vicki was devoted to her children, family & her many friends. As a military wife, Vicki traveled through & lived in many parts of the country before settling in Cincinnati. She worked at the Finneytown Board of Education and earlier served as personal secretary to Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. She will be missed and remembered by all who shared her walk through life. Rest in peace, Vicki. Visitation to be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6401 Hamilton Ave., College Hill, 45224, Wednesday, September 30, from, 5:30-7:30 PM. Another visitation will be held at Assumption Church, 7711 Joseph St., Mt. Healthy, 45231, Thursday, October 1, from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
