Vincent Anthony Carlotta
March 4, 1989 — June 13, 2017
CARLOTTA, Vincent Anthony, of West Chester, OH. Born March 4, 1989 to Barbara (nee Ritter) and the late Robert Carlotta. Loving brother of Chelsea Carlotta and Alyssa (Joe) Flading. Proud uncle of Anarah Carlotta. Dear grandson of Joan Ritter, Lee (Jane) Ritter, and the late Joseph and Lillian Carlotta. Also survived by many supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and girlfriend, Angela. Vincent graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 2008 and followed his dream to play college football, receiving an athletic scholarship to Ohio University. Vince graduated from Ohio in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Criminology. During his time in college Vincent excelled on the football field. As a Bobcat he made many memories including: two bowl victories, and an upset at Penn State his senior year, just to name a few. When he wasn’t on the field, Vincent spent most of his time in the gym, studying for classes, eating or visiting with friends. He loved to laugh, and he genuinely enjoyed telling good stories. Many people may not know it, but Vince also loved to draw. He was a great artist (received an Art Scholarship to Roger Bacon High School) and this was something he enjoyed doing with his niece over the last several years. Vince was devoted to his family; he cared so much for his mother, sisters, niece and beloved pets. Even though Vince always had a smile on his face he did have his challenges. Over the last few years of his life, Vince dealt with chronic pain, addiction, and mental illness. He was loved by so many people, who truly cared for him. Vincent went to be with his Savior on June 13, 2017. Visitation will be held Friday (6/23) at Roger Bacon High School, 4320 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45217, from 6PM until 9PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement, 4536 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45217, Saturday (6/24) at 10 AM. Memorial donations may be sent to Roger Bacon High School, or CTE Center - Boston University
