Virginia "Ginny" Benken

BENKEN, Virginia “Ginny” Meyer, born August 9, 1918, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Benken, Sr. and her sister Rita Blum. She leaves behind her five children Ginny Benken, John Benken, Jr., Barbara Wimprine, Mary McCaulley and Dottie King Zahner, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Long-time resident of Wyoming. Visitation at St. Peter & Paul Church, 330 W. Vine St., Reading, Monday 10:30-11:45 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon.
