HATFIELD, W. Ruth (nee Deaton). Wife of the late Carl Hatfield. Dear mother of Carla (Rick) Kerkhoff, Gina Hurston, Chip (Lisa) Hatfield, Steve Mills, Ed (Kim) Deaton, Phil Deaton and Karen (Tim) Lehmkuhl. Grandmother of Kristen, Joe, John, Jake, Ethan, Lauren, Jared, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Brian, Dylan, Dwayne and Josh. Great-grandmother of Hazel and Callie. Sister of Ken Deaton, Doris Ireland and the late Elbert Deaton and Norma Jean McIntosh. Also survived by nieces, nephews and her cousin and special friend Juanita Benzing. Passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at her residence at the age of 73.
