Walter B. Cohee

Walter Bergen Cohee, 94, entered into Heaven on June 28, 2024. He was the husband of Melba Louise Cohee. They shared 70 beautiful years of marriage. 

 Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Marjorie (Gram) Cohee and Benjamin K. Cohee. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for his father’s Toro business.

 Walter was a member of King of Kings. He enjoyed playing golf and following every sport. He was a well respected and loved husband, father and grandfather, He was stern yet gentle. He was dependable and taught us to work hard always leading by example. He will be with us always in heart and memory. 

 Walter is survived by his son Benjamin Cohee and wife, brother-in-law Daniel Henke and wife, 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and son Thomas Cohee, parents and brother-in-law Norbert Henke. 

 A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at King of Kings Lutheran Church 3621 Socialville-Fosters Rd. Mason, OH 45040 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with military honors to follow. A lunch will follow the funeral services at the Church.
