William G. Leininger

LEININGER, William G., beloved husband of Shirley A. (nee Caskey) Leininger. Dear father of Debbie (Joe) Ward, Terry Ward, William (Patty) Leininger, James Leininger, Tina (Billy) Wilson, Shannon Valentine and Veronica (Paul) Combs. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Son of the late George and Christine Leininger. Brother of Robert (Dottie) Leininger, Steve (Pat) Leininger, George (Bonnie) Leininger, Tina (Mike) Kline, and the late Diane Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the age of 68. William was a retired Elmwood Place Police Officer. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
