William H. Anderson

William H. Beloved husband of Jean Anderson (nee Koop), dear father of Susan (William) Gaut, Nancy (Gregory) Guy, Barbara (William) Lee, William (Pat) Anderson Jr, Francie (Cornelius) Bulman. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren. Dear brother of Sarah Wollin and the late Robert W. Anderson Jr. Born in Cincinnati Feb. 28, 1926 to Robert W. and Anna Anderson (both deceased). Passed away July 5, 2013. Bill attended Wyoming High School, served two years in the Marine Corps and received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati. He worked for the Hamilton County Prosecutors office for two years, then joined the law firm Graydon, Head and Ritchey from which he retired. Bill served as a municipal judge in Wyoming and for two years in the State House of Representatives. Bill was quite an athlete. He was an Ohio State High School tennis doubles champion. He played football, basketball and tennis at the University of Cincinnati. He excelled at golf as member of Wyoming Golf Club, a runner up in the Ohio Amateur, inducted into the Cincinnati Legends of Golf and played for the Ohio Senior Golf team. Bill is in the halls of fame for Wyoming High School, Buddy LaRosa’s, and the University of Cincinnati. He was also named by The Cincinnati Enquirer as one of the top 100 athletes from this area. Through his family, work and hobbies he touched many people from various walks of life and his life was richer for it. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the U.C. Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
