William Wallace Ford Jr.

William Wallace Ford, Jr. departed this world to join his beloved wife, Barbara, in Heaven, on November 19, 2014. William was the loving father of William W. (Jill) Ford, III and Stephen D. (Karen) Ford. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Nicole, Kathryn, Courtney, and Jacob Ford. William was a dear brother of Christopher (Janet) Ford and Cynthia Beutel (deceased), and brother-in-law of Margaret (James) Pennington and David (Jeanette) Zimmerman. William was born, grew up, and began his career in Green Bay, Wisconsin, before spending much of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio and then retiring with Barbara to the lake in Dollar Bay, Michigan. William graduated in 1958 from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and began a fulfilling 35-year career with Procter & Gamble. He and Barbara married in Florida in 1959, moved their family from Green Bay to Cincinnati in 1963, and spent more than 54 wonderful years together before Barbara was received by her Lord in 2013. William’s love for Barbara was infinite, and set an example for generations to emulate. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be welcomed by The Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati or Camp Joy in Clarksville, OH.
