Wilma Nickels

NICKELS, Wilma (nee McConnell). Loving wife of James Nickels for 70 years. Dear mother of Sheila (Don) McVey, Pamela (Sandra Mathews) Nickels, and Elizabeth (Paul) Stratman. Grandmother of Nelson (Angie) and James (Brook) McVey, Paul and Kaitlin Stratman. Survived by 6 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Grace, Josiah, Evan, Elijah, and Wynter. Preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sheyenne. Survived by 7 siblings and many nieces and nephews. Wilma passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the age of 90. Visitation will be held at Central Baptist Church, 7645 Winton Rd., Finneytown 45224 on Thursday from 11 a.m until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Wilma was a member of Central Baptist Church for over 60 years and a Registered Nurse at Drake Hospital for over 35 years. Memorials may be directed to the charity of donor’s choice.
