Winnie Paralee Wilson (nee Rainwater) passed away peacefully Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the age of 96. Winnie was preceded in death by her Husband Reverend Elza M. Wilson, son Bishop David M. Wilson; Parents Silas Monroe Rainwater and Mary Eliza Burton Schoolcraft Rainwater; Siblings sisters Edith Rainwater Meece, Lela Rainwater, Zena Rainwater Goodlander Bevins, half sisters Alta Rainwater, Myrtle Rainwater and Ada Rainwater as well as brother Clifford Rainwater and half brothers Robert Rainwater and Clarence Schoolcraft. She is survived by Grandchildren D. Scott  Wilson, Houston, TX and Cathy L. Marcellino, Howard, OH; Daughter-in-law Marlene F. Wilson; Great-grandchildren Luke Weber, Lauren Zaffos and Joshua Wilson; and Great-great- grandchildren Briseis and Selah Zaffos and many nieces and nephews. Winnie was born on June 19, 1919 in Palaski County, Somerset, Kentucky. Winnie’s joy in life was her love of God, church and family, especially enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her telephone was her lifeline to her family and friends during her last years while residing in Apple Valley (Howard, Ohio). Family will receive friends at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., (Rt. 42), West Chester, Friday, December 11th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm and at the First Apostolic Church, 6477 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, on Saturday, December 12th from 9:00am until time of Service at 10:00am. Procession to the cemetery immediately follows.
