Zeb Allen, Jr.

ALLEN, Jr., Zeb. Beloved husband of Pamela Allen (nee Ventre) for 50 years. Dear father of Bryan (Gail) Allen, Denise (Jason) Krause, Jody (Derrick) Edwards, Lisa (Juan) Garibay and the late Bill (survived by Sunny) Allen. Loving grandfather of Ryan Allen, Jacob Bernecker, Haley Krause, Jiyoon Han, Hunter Krause, Lindsey Allen, Hayden Krause, Sydney Edwards, Lauren Allen, Henlie Krause, DJ Edwards, and Sofia Garibay. Zeb was born in Louisville, KY on November 17, 1931 to Zeb and Emma Allen. He graduated from Portsmouth H.S. in 1950 and served in the Korean War. After the war he graduated from the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduation he spent the rest of his life in the medical field beginning at Cincinnati General Hospital and Holmes Hospital. He finished his career at St. Elizabeth Hospital as the director of Cardiology after 27 years of service. Zeb was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He was a strong, selfless caregiver that held his family first in his heart. He passed away Sunday April 27, 2014 at age 82.
